Health and Lifestyle Story

Health!! Health! Health!!

The most trending word since COVID broke out!

We all recognize how important health is to our well-being. So when COVID struck, I was determined to understand how my body and mind work in relationship with FOOD!

For the past two years, I have focused on learning about various aspects of health – primarily how nutrition affects the body and mind! I started experimenting with myself, eating different types of food at multiple intervals. I noticed my sugar spiked, triglycerides shot, and I had irregular sleep patterns. Basically, I was a lab rat.

In the end, I realized everyone is different, what works for me may not work for you, and what science says may not apply to me. Still, it is important to understand your own body before you start popping medications, just because of your family history. You are the only person who will ever live with you when you get sick! Therefore, we must take care of ourselves first.

To help myself, my family, and my dear friends, I became certified wellness, nutrition, and holistic health coach. My ultimate goal is to empower people to take care of their bodies and minds, so that the world can be healthier.

To make a long story short, I’m not perfect in my numbers, but I’m getting there. At least I know what works for me regarding keeping my hormones balanced. In addition, I realized that science is still evolving, and one size does not fit all. We have a unique body structure, so we cannot generalize. Instead, we must tune into ourselves to discover what works for us.

Finally, I learned to practice meditation and yoga regularly to protect myself from the negative energy surrounding me. As a result, I can heal myself every day and keep my mental sanity.

P.S: I am a certified Health Coach from reputed Dr. Sears Wellness Institute, so I have a license to practice. I am just a phone call away if anybody has any health-related questions.

Holistically yours,

Vij
